Originally opened in 1999 and relaunched again in 2001, the course has seen a number of developments over the years with the course currently undergoing significant improvement and reconfiguration.
The golf course sits at the heart of the new $425 million master-planned Kennedy Bay coastal development by Western Australia Beach and Golf Resort (WABGR).
Over the journey, Links Kennedy Bay has been ranked as high as #20 by Golf Digest Top 100 Golf Courses in Australia. Prior to the beginning of redevelopment, the course was ranked #10 in Australia’s best public access golf courses 2021 (as listed by Top 100 Golf Courses) and has been described as one of those courses that “…as soon as you finish playing you will want to come back and play it again” (James Spence – The Finest Golf Courses in Asia and Australasia).
Unfortunately, the course has not been ranked since then, however, we look forward to seeing our facility once again being highly regarded amongst golf aficionados from around the globe.
Players describe the course as having fast running fairways, tight grass, dramatic runoffs and unpredictable undulations, ensuring this course is equally challenging and rewarding.
