Links Kennedy Bay Course Update - August 2024

We have some exciting news regarding the Golf Courses redevelopment.  

We’re excited to share a significant milestone in Links Kennedy Bay’s redevelopment.

Thank you for sticking with us and remaining patient through this process – we really appreciate it.  

Mid-August – Early-September: A Hybrid 9 will be in play.  

Here’s what that will look like:

• You will play holes 1 through 8 as normal, followed by the NEW 18th hole! 

• This will require you to play the 8th, then walk back past the 8th teebox to the 18th teebox 
• There will be signage on the course making this easy to follow

This change is exciting for 2 reasons!

1) you’ll be playing off the NEW 18th hole!

And 2) we can start making way for our driving range, so you can get back to working on your long game.  

To ensure a smooth transition, please refer to the signage on site and speak to our staff if you have any questions/concerns. 

Late-October – Mid-November: The FULL and NEW Back 9 will be in play! 

• During this timeframe, we will be playing on the new Back 9 in its entirety! Marking a significant step forward in our redevelopment efforts. 

• This shift will then allow us to commence finalising the work on the front 9.  

Our goal is to complete the 18-hole course and be ready for play by Mid-2025. These steps above help us get that much closer to achieving this goal, and getting The Links Kennedy Bay back to where it belongs… as one of the leading Links courses in the country.  

We do really appreciate your patience and understanding as we’ve been through this process. We’ve been just as excited as you are to get out on the Links!
